摘要: Abstract Experiments have been carried out on a 100 mm diameter cyclone dipleg 2.38 m long through which solidsfluxes up to 500 kg (m 2 s) −1 were circulated. The pressure profiles show that the apparent density in increased progressively from top bottom. It was found large quantities of gas downwards by solids. Hydrodynamically, system resembles downward-flowing dense phase pneumatic transport, and predictions overall drop based this type model reasonable agreement with experiment; however, drops can be predicted more accurately using correlation solids-gas volumetric ratio. predicts for suspended operating at constant downward flow increases as length is increased, but when end extended below surface fluidized bed percentage recycled falls significantly. A calculation procedure presented suitable design diplegs fluid catalytic reactors or return lines circulating combustors.
