摘要: In the Explorer scenario we deal with problems of modeling space, acting in this space and reasoning about it. Comparing motivating example Section 1.3 focuses around issues related to second bullet example. The setting is that Fido moving an initially unknown (Fido was just unpacked from box), large scale (it a whole house so sensors do not perceive all there one spot), environment inhabited by humans (the owners possible visitors). These can be both users bystanders. version work move but interaction limited non-physical such as “talking”. main system are laser scanner camera mounted on pan-tilt enabling look turning its “neck”. Figure 10.1 shows typical situation scenario.
