摘要: This invention pertains to coated polymer sheets which are useful as visibly transparent heat reflective thermal control films and suitable for use in glazing applications. The characterized by a high transmission of visible radiation (i.e., transparent) reflectance at one or more near infrared center wavelengths reflective), rely primarily on the interference effects dielectric layers achieve these results. More specifically, present comprising (a) thin flexible polymeric sheet having first face an opposite second thickness from 0.1 100 mils; and, (b) multilayer coating adhered said face, two contiguous alternating low index refraction inorganic material optical approximately equal quarter wavelength, λ 0 , between 750 2000 nm; film average transmittance wavelength 380 nm 0° incidence least 50%; further band is wide falls within nm, incidence, 50%.
