摘要: The Danish model for vestibular schwannoma (VS) surgery has been influenced by some historical otological events, taking its origin in the fact that first attempt to remove CPA tumors was performed an otologist 1916. In approximately 50 years VS neurosurgeons a decentralized model. Highly specialized neuro- and otosurgeons have included our team since early beginning of centralized 1976. Our surgical practice always on basis known proven knowledge, but we spared no effort search innovative procedures. present paper reflects experience gained two decades surgery. studies incidence, symptomatology, diagnosis, expectancy results are presented.
