Features of Emerging Action Research

摘要: Widely divergent forms of action research are emerging to meet requirements new organizational and social environments. Cases in this special issue tangible examples these innovative AR efforts. This article identifies key dimensions that cut through the cases allow for comparison contrast. These include (1) system level charge target, (2) degree organization setting, (3) openness process, (4) goals purpose effort, (5) role researcher(s). Dimensions used locate support discussion qualitative aspects crucial understanding. Several general learnings derived from dimensional analysis described.
