摘要: From almost negligible amounts in 1970, the quantity of cultivated shrimp (∼3 million metric tons 2007) has risen to approach that capture fishery and it constitutes a vital source export income for many countries. Despite this success, viral diseases along way have caused billions dollars losses farmers. Desire reduce white spot syndrome virus particular, stimulated much research since 2000 on response pathogens at molecular level. The objective work is develop novel, practical methods improved disease control. This review covers background limitations current work, baseline studies humoral responses, binding between structural proteins intracellular responses. It also includes discussion several important phenomena (i.e., quasi immune response, co-infections, sequences genome persistent infections) which little or no information currently available, but needed.
