摘要: Cell-mediated and innate immunity are considered the most important mechanisms of host defense against fungus infections. However, recent studies demonstrated that specific antibodies show different degrees protection mycosis. In a previous study, antigens secreted by Sporothrix schenckii induced humoral response in infected animals, mainly 70-kDa molecule, indicating possible participation to this antigen infection control. present an IgG1 mAb was produced glycoprotein S. order better understand effect passive immunization mice with schenckii. Results showed significant reduction number CFU organs when injected before during infection. Similar results were observed T-cell-deficient used. Moreover, second schedule treatment, after established, again we associated increase IFN-γproduction. Also, is shown be putative adhesin on surface fungus. conclusion, report for first time protective antibody
