摘要: Treatment of tannery effluent samples by electroflotation technique was studied. Effects current density and electrode material on the removal suspended solids, sulphides, chromium, COD other pollutants have been discussed. Soluble anodes such as aluminum iron were found to be very effective for solids compared stable electrodes titanium coated with Ir/Ta/Ru oxides graphite. It observed that colloidal size are coagulated in presence anodes. Electroflotation has especially elimination pathogenic bacteria colour effluent. The kinetics flotation electrolytically generated bubbles also studied obey first order rate expression.
