摘要: Abstract We present evidence to support the use of local potentials for description elastic scattering nuclei by nuclei. Starting from resonating group formalism we suggest a simple ansatz separating dynamics effects antisymmetrisation. The resulting factorisation equation is equivalent an orthogonality condition model which may often be simplified even further yield Schrodinger with only. approximation applied calculate phase shifts and resonances in α-α, 3He-α 16O- 16O found give good representation available experimental data results full-scale calculations complete
