摘要: The central north shore of Prince Edward Island comprises embayments separated by subtle headlands that may constrain nearshore sediment transport. study area includes two such informally known as Brackley and Tracadie bights, both which are sand-rich onshore sand-starved between 20 50 m water depth. Storm winds waves from the northwest northeast common in autumn winter. hydrodynamic model Delft3D is used to simulate waves, currents, levels, transport bights during 23 seasons 1955 2005. When compared with wave current measurements a field experiment 1999, successfully simulates conditions storms fair-weather periods.
