摘要: Abstract Objective The study aims to determine which dimensions of pain—somatosensory, affective, or evaluative—would predict unidimensional pain scores in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD); compare the results findings cancer and chronic musculoskeletal patients; examine relationship between complaints psychopathology. Methods This is a 3-month prospective, observational study. Ninety-one Chinese were enrolled during an acute episode MDD. Multidimensional Affect Pain Survey (MAPS) was used assess multidimensional aspects pain. Unidimensional intensity evaluated using verbal rating scale (VRS) visual analog (VAS). Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression Hospital Anxiety anxiety symptoms. Results VRS VAS more highly correlated MAPS somatosensory supercluster than Depression, Scale, emotional well-being superclusters. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that predicted better by clusters. explained variance could be improved 9% 16% adding clusters after controlling clusters, whereas 1% 4% closely related symptoms cross-sectionally longitudinally. Conclusion Our data suggest MDD are not entirely related. In cases severe remain persistent despite treatment depression, specific strategy targeting may needed.
