摘要: The Concept of physiological time is extended from contributions Adolph, Hill, and Stahl to included a wider range events in the life histories mammals birds. durations physiological, developmental, ecological cycles show nearly parallel exponential relationships body size (masss1/4). Maximum span approximates fixed multiple shorter events, such as muscle-twitch time, circulation filtration blood plasma, respiratory metabolic cycles, embryonic development, growth, sexual maturation, even minimum population-doubling time.
