摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect an electromagnetic field (EMF), generated close ovaries, on primordial follicles. A total 16 rats were used in study. group consisted exposed EMF abdominal region for 15 min/d days. Both and control composed eight rats. After treatment period days, ovaries extracted, sections ovarian tissue taken histological evaluation. independent samples t test compare two groups. In group, means right left follicle numbers 34.00 ± 10.20 36.00 10.53, respectively. average number 70.00 19.03. 78.50 25.98 71.75 29.66, respectively, 150.25 49.53. comparisons between groups indicated that had significantly fewer follicles (p < 0.001, p = 0.011, 0.002, respectively). This found a significant decrease EMF. Further clinical studies are needed reveal effects EMFs reserve infertility.
