摘要: Nitric oxide (NO) is a ubiquitous messenger molecule with multiple roles in cellular physiology and signaling. Recent studies have indicated the role of NO as an inflammatory media tor potential non invasive biomarker. The current review focuses on nitric its derivatives inclu ding nitrites biomarkers for asse ssing airway inflammation respiratory disorders including asthma, br onchiectasis, cystic fibrosis chronic obstructive pulm onary disease.
