摘要: Abstract Peracetic acid (PAA) is useful in treating a wide variety of serious fish diseases aquaculture. As no information on PAA toxicity to crayfish available, we conducted acute tests Persteril 36, commercial PAA-containing product, three age/size classes signal crayfish, Pacifastacus leniusculus . Results confirmed high tolerance the target species this expressed as 96 h LC50 77.3 ± 1.0 mg L − 1 adults and low post-treatment mortality 9 month old juveniles. concentrations successfully applied aquaculture are generally 2.0 mg L or lower, can be recommended for use astaciculture. After necessary evaluations, uses might include limiting spread plague, saprolegniosis artificially incubated eggs, avoiding translocations further crayfish-related non-native when introducing stocking them closed culture systems.
