摘要: The purpose of this review is to give a general overview crustacean aquabreeding and serve as quick entry the literature. Non economically important groups (“animal models”) are mentioned for their heuristic value our published work unpublished experience with freshwater prawn Macrobruchium rosenbergii used illustrate specific points. Of all aquaculturally crustaceans have least amount genetic research applied them. However, in last 20 years there has been enough mandate by Hedgecock et al. (1982) update well-known Waterman (1960) which did not chapter on genetics; cytogenetics vis sex determination reviewed Ginsburger-Vogel Charniaux-Cotton (1982). Table I, derived from papers cited (1982), shows that genetics dominated Artemia biochemical genetics, color polymorphism electrophoresis. Less than 1% done an nature but involved major taxa except crayfish. aquacultural crustaceans, like some fishes molluscs, undomesticated still largely restricted assessing variation. Although effort being made develop varia tion, no selection developed direct human intervention available.
