摘要: Objectives: To investigate the clinical efficacy of physiotherapy with and without superficial dry needling on patients knee pain; patellofemoral pain syndrome. Methods: A randomized trial conducted in 2015, Tehran, Iran. Of syndrome, thirty-four subjects were randomly divided into two groups (17 each group). Group was subjected to group B needling. Only for B, applied during ten-day sessions physiotherapy, every other day. The needle remained 6 minutes at threepoints quadriceps muscle, accompanied rotation. Both received 10 therapy sessions. For both groups, first tenth sessions, muscle strength evaluated. Results: Statistical analysis showed variables had significant improvements after (P<0.05). Comparing more reduction based visual analog scale However, according manual testing method, between no difference (P<0.156). Discussion: Physiotherapy seen reduce increase performing a effect reducing pain. Superficial can cause many physiological neurophysiological effects. Through stimulation control mechanisms, it help further S T R C
