摘要: We report the synthesis, crystallization, and solid-state characterization of spiro-bis(3,7-dimethoxy-1,9-dioxophenalenyl) boron neutral radical 17; is distinguished by its oxygen functionalization we show that our strategy substitution at active positions phenalenyl units reduces electrochemical disproportionation potential. The crystal structure shows exists as a π-dimer room temperature one-dimensional (1D) π-chain alternating superimposed partially 100 K. Magnetic susceptibility measurements in solid state, remains paramagnetic but there significant spin−spin interaction between molecules along π-chains.
