The role of contact angles and contact angle hysteresis in dropwise condensation heat transfer

摘要: Abstract Data were obtained for dropwise condensation of steam on well-prepared and characterized surfaces. The results show that the heat-transfer in water vapour strongly depends hysteresis contact angle. surface conductance increases with decreasing angle values coefficient up to 340000W (m 2 K) , ( 60000 Btu h ft °F ), obtained. Detailed experimental are presented different characteristics.
