摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper is to present the results biometrical analysis carried out on cattle, sheep/goat and pig measurements from a number Spanish archaeological sites, dated between Roman post-medieval times. show that important transformations occurred in livestock management, as it visible through various changes body size main domesticates. Romans had great interest improving 1 cattle breeds, 2 while during Middle Ages most effort was put sheep breeds. three taxa decreased after times, reaching their minimum 8th 9th centuries, probably association with including free-range keeping non-selective breeding.
