Synuclein proteins and Alzheimer's disease

摘要: Abstract In Alzheimer's disease, synuclein/NAC (non-amyloid β component of disease amyloid) proteins are found in presynaptic cholinergic nerve terminals that degenerate early and they also closely linked to β-amyloid fibrils senile plaques. Synuclein/NAC provide a potential molecular link between the degeneration terminals, formation plaques, might have primary role their development.
