摘要: Horses walk to go slowly, trot faster, then canter and finally gallop at their highest speeds. The walk, trot, are different gaits, involving patterns of leg movement. This chapter is about gaits relative merits. Most the examples vertebrates, but it includes a little information insects other arthropods.
