Sarcomas in north west England: II. Incidence.

摘要: Incidence data on a population-based series of bone, soft tissue and visceral sarcomas from the North West England are presented. The derived mainly total 429 cases registered with Western Regional Cancer Registry diagnosed during period 1982-84, 76% which were confirmed as by panel five pathologists. Overall incidence per million person years was slightly higher in females (26.81) than males (24.71) but there no sex difference when 38 non-reviewed taken into consideration (females 29.07, (28.83). After exclusion tumours female genital tract, very similar both sexes 18.25, 18.70). Bone almost twice frequent (6.01) (3.55).
