摘要: The relationship between the microphase morphology and stress−strain behavior of a polystyrene-block-polybutadiene-block-poly(e-caprolactone) SBC triblock copolymer has been investigated with polystyrene as major component. semicrystalline PCL block does not change significantly basic morphology, but it affects form microdomains, so that S57B27C16 shows “polygonal” core shell in PS matrix. This seems to be consequence crystallization inner cylinders inducing deformation which may create interfacial stresses. These stresses can generate small microcrazes upon external loading responsible for high elongations at break this material. Moreover, long-range order affected through preparation conditions, determines behavior. Copolymers 57 51 wt % corresponding “PS matrix” exhibit up ∼800%.
