摘要: The pulse has long been used as a fundamental tool for diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine. It is generally classified dichotomously fast or slow, tense tender, floating sinking, large small, empty full, etc., with each term reflecting personal constituent condition of the body. Diagnosis by analysis requires experience and high level skill, interpretation subjective, depending on practitioner. Thus, it would be great significance to develop quantitative systematic measurement scheme establish an objective diagnostic system classifying pulse, which could practice Here, authors propose new quantification specific characteristics. These characteristics are determined using pressure-adjusting detector previously developed. This device regulates contact pressure sensor (transducer) skin over point varying number weights applied. weights, 20 g copper disks, 0.5 sq cm, increased incrementally. amplitude (as voltage) measured incorporated into device. there variable steady-state applied sensor, results signal maximum dependent pressure. Advantages quantified include scientific statistical data, more accurate precise observation construction biophysical model equations developed from data. confined their scope here introduction method, they hope apply purposes near future.
