摘要: A disc replacement prosthesis is described which placed within the intradiscal space vacated by a removed deteriorated disc, and affords mobility rather than fusion between adjacent vertebral bodies. The also protects remaining discs from deterioration providing shock absorbing portion. It adheres initially mechanically to bodies through arthrodesis over period of time.
