摘要: Computing the intersection of a line with volume, or 'ray tracing' as it is commonly known, an integral component three-dimensional radiotherapy dose calculation algorithms. Examples ray tracing include from radiation source patient, heterogeneous volumes within patient and beam-modifying devices, such wedge compensator. Ray also primary importance in field computer graphics. Through process tracing, various display features, hidden surfaces, shadows, reflection refraction, can be rendered simply startling realism. Advances have recently been made ray-tracing methods Due to similarity graphics radiotherapy, these new techniques immediate application problems calculations. The purpose this paper present advances illustrate their use therapy.
