摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate a bioactive multilayer wound dressing, based on chitosan and alginate. To enhance healing potential, Dracaena Cinnabari Aloe Vera were loaded as separate layers into the scaffold. bare multilayered scaffolds fabricated by an iterative layering freeze-drying technique. Following topographical, chemical, physical assessment, performance evaluated in vitro vivo. results revealed adequate attachment, proliferation human foreskin fibroblasts, indicating excellent biocompatibility In vivo, multi-layered scaffold with materials comparable Comfeel plus®. wounds treated exhibited superior hypergranulation, fibroblast maturation, epithelization, collagen deposition, minimal inflammation, crust formation. It is concluded that synergism extracellular matrix-mimicking scaffolding could be considered supportive dressing.
