摘要: Abstract Background Botulinum toxin type A is a first-line treatment for post-stroke focal spasticity, and the accuracy in delivering to target muscles may influence outcome. Our aim was compare reduction of spasticity related finger position at rest improvement patients treated with botulinum upper limb using ultrasound guidance manual needle placement. Methods In randomized clinical trial, two groups 15 stroke were injections wrist flexor affected or The Modified Ashworth Scale measured baseline one month after injections. Results After follow-up from injections, significantly improved both groups, although these outcomes better under than injected Conclusion Ultrasound could improve outcome measures placement spasticity.
