摘要: This paper presents a hybrid methodology to analyze the commercial measures of changing stator windings and adjusting air gap length upgrade efficiency typical three-phase direct-on-line induction motors with die-cast copper rotor (DCR). The calculation is carried out through combining time-stepping time-harmonic finite element analysis (FEA) circuit equivalent model. Typical full-load performance different lengths are computed by MATLAB invoking 2D transient eddy current field in ANSYS/MAXWELL. Then, scripts about post-processing FEA results used obtain running including loss distribution circulating current. model built based on compare overload starting performance. After that, four stators three DCRs an 11 kW motor fabricated tested validate calculations. By comparing from both calculations measurements, it shown that factors can effectively improve DCR without addition extra materials. 11/12 pitch Y-Δ series winding 0.6 mm has best performance, terms efficiency, overloading capability Its increase 90% highest 92.35% sole adjustment length.
