摘要: Urban encroachment in natural floodplain areas and infrastructures interfering with watercourses have caused higher flood risks lowland areas. In this context, detention basins become a fundamental instrument for stormwater environmental management at watershed scale. Numerical methods of routing are generally coupled optimization algorithms to investigate the factors that affect overall efficiency controlling peak flows throughout watershed. To overcome procedure effort due numerical integration, simple innovative approach, based on linear system theory applied solution hydrologic routing, is proposed preliminary estimate efficiency. First analysis performed ensure schematization basin as leads technically acceptable approximation. Then, analytical equation provided allows downstream river reaches. Sensitivity above provides information about most contribute flow reduction variability. Finally, methodology, adequately extended parallel within watershed, can be easily integrated algorithms.
