Breathing Modes in Rotating Bose-Condensed Gas: An Exact Diagonalization Study

摘要: We present an exact diagonalization study of the breathing mode collective excitations for a rotating Bose-Einstein condensate $N=10$ spinless bosons interacting via repulsive finite-range Gaussian potential and harmonically confined in quasi-two-dimension. The yrast state low-lying excited states are variationally obtained given subspaces quantized total angular momentum $L$ employing beyond lowest Landau level approximation slowly regime with $0 \le L < 2N$. For $L$, low-energy eigenspectra (bands) weakly to moderately regime. Further, interaction, split eigenenergies increasing is precursor spontaneous symmetry breaking axisymmetry associated entry first vortex. With increase value increases stable $L=0~\mbox{and}~N$, but decreases intermediate $0
