摘要: Measurements of the magnetic susceptibility frustrated pyrochlore magnet Gd2Sn2O7 have been performed at temperatures below T = 5 K and in fields up to H 12 T. The phase boundaries determined from these measurements are mapped out an H–T diagram. In this gadolinium compound, where crystal-field splitting is small exchange dipolar energy comparable, Zeeman overcomes competing energies, resulting least four transitions 1 K. These data compared against those for Gd2Ti2O7 will, we hope, stimulate further studies.
