摘要: Analysis of the nucleotide sequence form I ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RubisCO) genes (cbbL and cbbS) non-sulfur purple bacterium Rhodobacter capsulatus indicated that deduced amino acid large subunit was not closely homologous to from related organisms. Indeed, phylogenetic analysis suggested protein (CbbL) more resembled enzyme alpha/beta/gamma bacteria cyanobacteria is within a 'green-like' radiation RubisCO tree, well separated CbbL organism sphaeroides. A cbbQ gene discovered downstream cbbS in Rh. capsulatus, arrangement which also appears be limited certain organisms containing RubisCO. Upstream, divergently transcribed cbbLSQ, (cbbRI) encodes LysR-type transcriptional activator. Phylogenetic CbbRI suggests this quite distinct sphaeroides CbbR protein, even previously described CbbRII upstream cbbII operon capsulatus. Interestingly, whose falls tree. These studies suggest cbbRI-cbbL-cbbS-cbbQ were acquired by via horizontal transfer bacterial species
