摘要: Abstract The economic and historical importance of this wind‐pollinated species (Olea europaea) in the Mediterranean area has stimulated a lot research. Some these investigations have studied reproductive phases up to fruit formation, with particular focus on flowering period. To evaluate pollinating process, micro‐ macro‐morphological analyses were carried out for 3 years an experimental olive grove two cultivars ('Ascolana Tenera’ ‘Giarraffa'). data show relevant differences (tree‐crown volume number inflorescences) similarities (the mean flowers per inflorescence) between cultivars. Micro‐morphological determined pollen grains anther ‘Giarraffa’, used as “polliniser” at same time, stigmas, analysis provided potential quantity captured by ‘Ascolana “used “pollinated” plant.
