摘要: We examine driven superconducting vortices interacting with quenched disorder where we measure the memory effects under a sequence of drive pulses applied perpendicular to each other. As function strength, find four types behavior: an elastic response, fragile phase, jammed and pinning dominated regime. These phases can be distinguished by presence or absence different effects. The states exhibit memory, while regimes do not. In regime, system organizes into pinned state during first pulse, flows second pulse which is in direction, then returns third same direction as pulse. This behavior hallmark fragility that has been proposed for jamming particulate matter Cates et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 81, 1841 (1998)]. For stronger disorder, observe robust effect still present but reaches reduced flow similar what appears granular systems shear jamming. show produce signatures spatial vortex configurations, arising from coexistence component assembly. sequential driving protocol propose distinguishing fragile, jammed, should general broader class particles disorder.
