摘要: Wide‐line NMR and powder x‐ray measurements were made on tetramethyl‐N–N‐bis(trimethylsilylcyclodisilizane) (Me3SiNSiMe2)2, over the temperature range 77°—300°K. Linewidths second moments calculated from experimental spectra. Theoretical line shapes for various motions, then compared with results in order to determine motions present. It was found that at 77°K molecule is rigid except rotation of methyl groups about their C–Si bonds. At room it rotating a molecular axis, Me3Si are Si–N bonds, All these uncorrelated frequencies>106 cps. intermediate temperatures torsional oscillations observed. The barriers relationships between crystallographic data discussed.
