摘要: Abstract : The Integrated Area Measure (IAM) of event-related brain potentials components was assessed as a simple method quantifying cognitive workload. Additionally, the hypothesis Miskin and Appenzeller that right hemisphere is more involved in visual processing than left evaluated. One hundred two U.S. Navymen were used subjects each subject completed baseline an 'oddball' task. EEG recorded at electrode sites (C3 C4). results indicate IAM may be useful measure showed stimulus discrimination not greater for hemisphere, therefore, supported. However, significantly larger memory. present data suggest generates required activity updating working ultimately prove to tool monitoring personnel. (JG)
