摘要: The cytostatic agent cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) (cisplatin) can react with DNA and RNA as well proteins. It is generally assumed that the antineoplastic activity results from interaction inside cell nucleus. Therefore, studies on induction repair of cisplatin-DNA adducts (e.g. in cultured cells) have been are being performed to get insight into working mechanism cisplatin. In Fig.1 various types reaction products depicted. Despite a multitude investigations last 10 years, it still unknown which responsible for antitumor action or (undesired) side effects drug. An important bottleneck these was lack analytical methods quantitative detection at level sensitivity selectivity would permit their determination mildly exposed cells tissues.
