摘要: Abstract Excess fatigue and exhaustion are among the most prevalent premonitory complaints of myocardial infarction sudden cardiac death. These feelings may reflect subclinical heart disease, prolonged psychological tension, or both. The present study investigates to what extent coronary artery disease explains exhaustion. For this purpose, relationship between severity exhaustion, relief after successful percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) is investigated. Patients who had a elective PTCA ( N = 120) were evaluated on admission, 2 weeks discharge 6 months discharge, making use Maastricht Questionnaire. Multiple regression analyses used investigate degree admission was determined by other patient characteristics. Severity before positively associated with resulted in significant decrease scores P R 0.04, F 5.1, 0.03). majority patients exhausted remained PTCA. Exhaustion 75% 65% PTCA, which indicates that restoration perfusion does not substantially reduce number patients. At months, 60% patients, there no difference without typical anginal at time. It concluded impaired can only partially account for tiredness CAD ameliorate
