摘要: The Patient Health Questionnaire PHQ-9 is a widely used instrument to screen for depression in clinical research. first aim of this study was psychometrically test the large sample cancer patients. second calculate unbiased estimates burden several groups taking into account age and gender distributions. A 2,059 patients with varying diagnoses were examined six months after discharge from rehabilitation clinic. representative 2,693 people general population served as controls. Expected mean scores sample, regressed on gender, calculated enable fair comparison different While reliability (Cronbach’s alpha) scale good (alpha ≥ 0.84), CFA fit indices one-dimensional solution unsatisfactory patients’ sample. factorial analysis confirmed two factors. 15 types are given, ranging 4.0 (prostate) 8.2 (thyroid gland). Differences between expected (derived population) raw subsamples reported that provide better estimate burden. results performs well testing Regression coefficients can be performing comparisons among groups, not only study. testis Hodgkin lymphoma underestimated when taken account.
