IPTV-VOD program recommendation system using single-scaled hybrid filtering

摘要: In this paper, a new program recommendation algorithm is proposed to recommend user preferred VOD in IPTV environment. A system implemented with hybrid filtering method that can cooperatively complements the shortcomings of content-based and collaborative filtering. For preference, single-scaled measure designed so performance between easily compared reflected final procedure. order provide high quality recommendation, we use not only watching history, but also preference mid-subgenre updated weekly as profile. System evaluated modified data from real 24-weeks cable TV provided by Nilson Reseach Corp. Korea it shows quite comparative recommendation.
