摘要: The long-term aging of ferritic 2.25CrMo steel was characterized using the acoustic nonlinear effect in order to apply diagnose degradation behavior structural materials. We measured nonlinearity parameter for each thermally aged specimen by higher harmonic-generation technique. increased with time due equilibrium M6C carbide precipitation, and has a favorable linear relation Rockwell hardness. This study suggests that testing may be applicable diagnostics on strength rotor steels.
