Fabrication and characterization of fiber waveguides from single-crystal Er 3+ -Doped YAG

摘要: Rod-in-tube preforms and laser heated pedestal growth were used successfully to fabricate graded-index Erbium doped YAG fibers suitable for low-loss waveguides in gain or power delivery applications.
