摘要: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy or stress is a transient reversible characterized by regional wall motion abnormalities that usually extend beyond single epicardial vascular distribution. It often precipitated acute physical emotional stressors. In this article, we present the case of postmenopausal woman who was admitted for management pancreatitis. On second day admission, she developed shortness breath and electrocardiographic abnormalities. A transthoracic echocardiogram revealed left ventricular systolic dysfunction apical akinesis, coronary angiography normal arteries. She diagnosed with takotsubo triggered pancreatitis started on guideline-directed heart failure medications. follow-up 4 months later persistent akinesis.
