The Enthalpies of Formation of α-Phase Al-Zn Alloys

摘要: AbstractA calorimetric study of aluminium–zinc alloys containing up to 60 at.-% Zn has yielded values the enthalpy formation that compare well with those previous work by Wittig and Schoffl (Z. Metallkunde, 1960, 51, 700). Trends in composition temperature coefficients are also good agreement. It is suggested mixing both studies more consistent a previously proposed modification phase diagram than obtained from emf studies. Excess entropies have been calculated combining enthalpies calorimetry excess free energies measurements.
