摘要: Xen is an x86 virtual machine monitor produced by the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory and released under GNU General Public License. Performance results comparing XenoLinux (Linux running in a machine) to native Linux as well other virtualization tools such User Mode (UML) were recently published paper "Xen Art Virtualization" at Symposium on Operating Systems Principles (October 2003). In this study, we repeat performance analysis Xen. We also extend several ways, including IBM zServer. use study example repeated research. argue that model research, which enabled open source software, important step transferring computer science research into production environments.
