摘要: Abstract Gas-liquid countercurrent flow dynamics and enzymatic CO2 hydration performance in vertical, inclined, oscillating structured packed-bed columns were explored via an unsteady-state 3-D model with the intent to understand conduct of under offshore conditions. A significant asymmetric gas-liquid is established at larger column permanent inclinations inducing noticeable liquid accumulation lowermost cross-sectional area column. On contrary, marginally inclined only a reduced fraction subject gravity-driven migration circumferential radial directions. Symmetrical externally-generated oscillations give complex secondary flows directions resulting oscillatory patterns around steady-state solution vertical position amplitude propagation frequency influenced by sinusoidal angular motion. Inclined underperform configuration for both processes immobilized solution-borne carbonic anhydrase. An column, affected parameters motion reactor, generated symmetrical externally-induced reactor periodic oscillations. Though requiring considerable amount enzyme, removal efficiency superior process enzyme regardless because absence diffusion within washcoat.
