摘要: The anodic behaviour of aluminum alloys, mainly Al 5083-H321 and 6061-T651, in aqueous chloride solution the presence sulphate ions has been investigated at room temperature by linear sweep polarization technique potential step method. For both electrodes i-E curves were characterized a minor peak prior to major dissolution region, but with high current density for due probably monolayer(s) formation Al2O3 and/or MgO. detection Mg was shown SIMS analyses. Significant pitting observed 5083-H321, as result combined effects electrochemically active matrix electrode, its subsequent influence on hydrogen evolution, attack electrode surface.
