摘要: Diesel is in vogue as a fuel transportation sector from long time. being fossil depleting very quickly and soon will be scarce enough to used economically. Biodiesels, possessing the properties almost equivalent diesel are found one of prospective alternative choice substitute petroleum based fuel. One such biodiesel prepared neem oil. Neem oil, non-edible oil has few uses can easily India other south-east Asian countries. methyl ester (NOME) biodiesel, by esterification Diethyl ether (DEE) was also blend with separately. Various proportions diesel, DEE were investigated four-cylinder DI engine. The higher latent heat evaporation gives cooling effect engine cylinder. It contains high oxygen its chemical composition along low cetane number. Due this, smoke, carbon monoxide (CO) Nitrogen oxide (NO X ) decreased on addition. However, unburned hydrocarbon (HC) emissions increased. Graphs have been plotted for various parameters emission levels blends. that an adverse performance characteristics due large difference their flash point improper combustion however biodiesels good it characteristics.
